FAQ
There is a layer of oil in my jar. Can I still use the concentrate?
Don't worry, it's just natural oils from the nuts. Our concentrates are made from 100% nuts and absolutely nothing else (eg. emulsifiers, stabilisers, thickeners) so oil separation is very natural. Just stir before using and voila, you’re all set!
My plant milk in the fridge has separated. Is it spoilt?
Separation is completely normal because the concentrates are made from 100% nuts and nothing else artificial (eg. emulsifiers, stabilisers, thickeners) to hold it together. Give your milk container a shake and voila, you're good to go! Your plant-based milk should be good in the fridge between 3-5 days.
How do the concentrates differ from traditional nut butters?
In The Pink Co’s plant milk concentrate is specifically designed to be used as plant milk. The process to make our concentrate is very different to making nut butters. Our process ensures a smooth final product which is finer than nut butter for grit-free milk at home without you needing expensive kitchen equipments or straining with nut milk bags. Always blanched, never roasted (unlike most nut butters) and always raw for that pure, unadulterated plant milk taste. When we say we’ve done the hard bit for you, we really mean it!
