Hey, there.

We hope you’re in the pink!

We are Ili and Khadijah,

co-founders of In The Pink Co. & we’d like to let you in on

our story.

In The Pink Co. started because of two facts.

1

Most conventional plant milk in stores are made of approximately 98% water

and additives with very little real plants. If you’re buying plant milk hoping to

reap the nutritional benefits, you might not be getting as much as you think.

2

In most developed countries, the recycling rate for paperboard cartons, which includes milk cartons, is only about 20%. In developing countries, this number is less. This means that the majority of milk cartons, along with other types of packaging waste, end up in already overflowing landfills and polluted oceans.

So we decided to stop drinking

plant-flavoured water

(2% plant + water + additives)

The two of us have been making plant milk by hand since 2019 for its health benefits and to reduce packaging waste. What do we think about it? It is one of the best things we’ve ever done! It gives us peace of mind not to have to compromise our values while also getting to enjoy the best plant milk we’ve ever tasted.

However, if you have made plant milk yourself at home, you will know that it is not the easiest thing to do. The process is lengthy (it takes overnight to soak some nuts), it requires uncommon tools (high-speed food processor / blender and nut milk strainer bag, just to name a few), you have to follow some strict steps or you will get slimy milk which would turn bad really quick, there's too much pulps at the end that you won’t know what to do with it (you could save it for later as pulps does have its uses but more often than not, the pulps just gets thrown away, which means food waste). Because of all this tediousness, you tend to make plant milk in a big batch that’s way more than you could finish before it gets spoiled and that's more food waste!

and tossing out cartons.

So we started to search for a convenient way to make quality homemade plant milk while also maintaining the same healthy and earth-friendly impacts. That’s how In The Pink Co.’s plant milk concentrate was created. It took us 18 months to get these amazing jars of goodness from idea to product, showing just how much research, innovation, passion and care we put into the process. Now, we're absolutely thrilled to be able to make this incredible product accessible to everyone, so you can enjoy the same deliciously healthy taste and sustainability that we do, minus the hassle and mess. Consider trying it for yourself. We hope you love it as much as we do!

We created the world's freshest
& most sustainable plant milk yet.

From our kitchen to yours with love,
